Airgard and Exyte Commission Scrubber System in Singapore

Celebrating first joint-effort between Exyte Services and Airgard for a commissioning project

 

Airgard is pleased to announce that we have successfully completed our first joint effort with Exyte Services to commission an Airgard system for a key client in Singapore. The commissioning involved a used scrubber system that was moved from one fab to another to replace an old epi scrubber that needed to be removed and scrapped. Prior to the move-in and installation, the Airgard unit was flushed and cleaned. Once the system was positioned and tied into utilities, the Exyte Services and Airgard FSE team were able to perform a thorough commissioning and start-up.

Airgard Hires New Director of Technology

WELCOMing Don Westmoreland To The Team

Don comes to Airgard as Director of Technology with many years of experience in the semiconductor R&D and manufacturing field. Don is responsible for developing forward-looking technologies and specifying Airgard solutions to meet customer applications.

Previously with a global semiconductor manufacturer for 32 years, Don managed a material science and films research group for the first half of his tenure, leading a team of scientists developing and patenting new materials for film deposition. Don also worked in global environmental policy, leading a company program to help guide EPA policy on semiconductor manufacturing. Don’s last 10 years at the global semiconductor manufacturer were focused on building and leading a semiconductor organization tasked with reviewing all chemical processes with regard to risk-based process safety (RBPS) as well as assurance of process uptime.
